Multi talented show stopper, Rawlings Nii Armah Adams (aka Ras King Bobo 1)will be performing at the Miss Black Africa Fundraising Gala taking place this Saturday, the 18th of July at Wickham Hall, 69-89 Mile End Road, London E1 4TT.
Miss Black Africa UK Jacqueline Ilumoka and the team will be embarking on our Annual charity missionin August. We shall be providing wheel chairs, crutches, mobility aids and building ramps for Children at the School For The Handicapped.
Guests will enjoy a variety of entertainment, great music, delicious food and drinks with the opportunity to win a wealth of luxurious prizes and experiences from the charity auction. Notable guest speakers include Debola Daniel amongst other disability advocates.
Entertainment on the night includes a performance by BEFFTA nominated artist Justified Prince, stand up comedy by international comedian/actor Travis Jay as well as a fashion show featuring designs by Gerda Truubon and Mark Johnson's House of Esther.
Afrofusion Hair, Hull will be exhibiting Annie Hood's extreme hair pieces and designs during the Hair Show section.
Other great acts include Ghanaian sensation - acrobat Ras King Bobo, X Factor finalist and fast rising star- Shylo, artistes Dot & Darryl and outstanding wordplay poet (Munnya) performing his new EP Andrew due for release on the 25th of July. Also on the bill is RnB songstress Shy who will perform her new single Iwo Ni.

Ras King Bobo 1 is a multi talented performer from the West African country of Ghana. He is skilled in a number of African & Western arts and circus skills, including acrobatics, fire eating, pan spinning, drumming, street dance, African dance and music. In 2012, Ras Bobo moved to the UK and is currently based close to Birmingham.
He started performing from an early age and paid his way through school by doing acrobatics and dancing shows throughout Accra and Tema. A natural entertainer, Ras king Bobo1 has performed in many countries, including Ghana, Nigeria, UK and South Africa. Since moving to the UK nearly two years ago, Ras Bobo has had numerous performances, at events such as Birmingham's Summer in the City 2012, Ghana Society Youth Empowerment Show, Zip TV's Annual Dinner Dance, the Walled Garden Festival, Warwick Arts Centre's Summer Fun day and for several events connected to the Lichfield Bower.
Ras Bobo's shows feature a combination of acrobatics, circus skills and if desired, fire skills. He is naturally talented at building a rapport with the audience and particularly enjoys having audience members participate in his performances. He is happy to perform by himself or in conjunction with others, and has in the past year collaborated with a steel pan band, a burlesque dancer and a number of circus companies as well as regularly performing as part of the Bodybeat School of Dance. Ras Bobo's pan spinning skills are quite unique in the Midlands and have been used on TV numerous times by both Britain's Got Talent and local news shows.
A talented street dancer, Ras Bobo really came into his own when he joined the 2Puff street dance crew. Together they won the Ghana Malta Guinness Street Dance 2008 and then went on to triumph at the Pan African competition beating the national champions from many other African countries such as Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya and Cameroun. Ras Bobo has since been lucky enough to perform in many countries worldwide, dancing with artists such as Sizzla (Jamaica) and P Square (Nigeria) and has been featured in a number of music videos for top Ghanaian artists. Whilst in the UK he has competed in the UDO dance championships where he got through to the final of the Adult advanced group.
